Pay Range: $19.00 - $28.75 per hour (based on experience).

• To maintain and direct all maintenance activities, ensuring that all hatchery equipment is operating safely and at peak efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor a parts inventory that is economical and within budgeted costs.
• Responsible for general maintenance of equipment and buildings.
• Maintain parts inventory, including ordering and receiving.
• Conduct plant safety audits.
• Coordinate and comply with plant preventative maintenance programs.
• Complete special projects as needed.
• Do electrical troubleshooting, A/C, and/or electronics.
• Provide hatchery relief labor under emergency situations.

• Must be able to monitor and direct maintenance personnel so that all job requests are completed in a safe and timely manner.
• Must be able to monitor and control a parts inventory in a cost‑effective manner within budgeted costs.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to move 100 pounds.
• Must have strong welding skills.
• Must have good electrical knowledge.
• 4 – 6 years’ experience in the hatcheries preferred.
• Must maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Pallet jack and forklift training.
• Respirator training.
