Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Home Health Administrator to oversee our Connecticut operations. This leadership role is crucial in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing day-to-day functions, and upholding our culture of clinical excellence.
Responsibilities- Plan, budget, manage, and assess agency programs to meet performance goals
- Teach, coach, and mentor nursing staff; provide in-home care if needed (e.g., call-outs)
- Recruit qualified personnel, evaluate staff performance, and organize orientation/in-service programs
- Develop record and statistical reporting systems for documentation and evaluation
- Maintain compliance with licensure regulations and standards (state and federal)
- Delegate administrative responsibilities in the Administrator's absence
- Must meet Connecticut Department of Public Health requirements for Home Health Administrators
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- At least 5 years in a leadership role within home health or healthcare
- Proven knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to foster a collaborative, patient-focused environment
