The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, among many other ways. Our volunteers are passionate members of our team that help us work toward an end to Alzheimer’s disease.

We invite you to join the committee for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Eastern Connecticut.
This dedicated group of volunteers is at the heart of every Walk. The Walk takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Ocean Beach Park, New London, Connecticut.
Responsibilities- Attend community fairs and fundraisers to raise awareness of the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
- Participate in committee meetings (held once a month, in person and virtually).
- Help create a moving event experience for participants on Walk day.
- Interact with community members and promote the Walk to End Alzheimer's Eastern Connecticut.
Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter by 2x.
