Position Details- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Location: Mercy South
- Schedule: Full Time Nights - 36 hours/week
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 available!
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will:
- Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders.
- Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
- Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff regarding respiratory care.
- Perform various duties as assigned to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Education: Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
- Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, meeting state requirements.
- Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). PALS certification is required for those working in the Emergency Room.
- Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, with minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Preferred Experience: Critical care experience is a plus!
