OverviewIn this full-time role, you will:
- Deliver direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders.
- Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
- Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff regarding respiratory care.
- Perform various assigned duties to support our critical and emergency care teams.
- Education: Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
- Licensure: Must meet state licensure requirements and hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Certifications: Must hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). PALS certification is required for those working in the Emergency Room.
- Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, with minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Equipment Used: Proficient in all appropriate respiratory care devices.
- Preferred: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and critical care experience.
