Job DescriptionThis is not a sedentary position. Must be able to stand for several hours. You will serve as a receptionist engaging with donors and performing administrative tasks to support plasma center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager.
Responsibilities- Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility, including new and repeat donors, promptly exhibiting customer service skills.
- Assist donors with appointments; create or pull donor record files.
- Provide customer service to donors (external) and fellow employees (internal).
- Maintain orderly filing system, purging records.
- Report to the center management team identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, initiating changes to center processes through use of company approved procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Because of potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear. - 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives.
