Trinity Health’s First Choice provides a competitive pay range (Gross Weekly Rate: $2,484.00) based on your experience and qualifications. Actual compensation includes premium pay and tax‑free stipends for eligible assignments.

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment at Mercy One Waterloo Medical Center. The role is 12‑hour night shifts (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) with 36 hours per week.

• Float throughout the hospital and across multiple locations or regions as needed.
• Adhere to AARC guidelines and demonstrate continuous professional practice.
• Work independently within scope of knowledge and experience.
• Take accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement.
• Show agility and willingness to assume additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas, cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Graduate of a two‑year advanced practitioner‑accredited Respiratory Therapist program (registry‑eligible).
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care, where required.
• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or RRT credential.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient, physician, and staff communication.
• Analytical skills for patient needs assessment.
• Basic computer literacy in a Windows environment.
