Provides Speech Therapy evaluations and treatments to appropriate patients to facilitate their return to prior level of functioning as prescribed by physician. Adheres to Mercy One's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Mercy One.

Day Shift

• Conducts patient assessment.
• Develops treatment plans for patients.
• Administers treatment techniques competently.
• Communicates relevant patient information.
• Provides education to patients and families.

• Master’s Degree in communicative disorders.
• No prior experience required.
• State of Iowa licensure or temporary clinical license;
  Certification by the American Speech-Hearing Association preferred.
• Mandatory Reporter, BLS, FIM.
• Valid IA driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) (required if working in Speech Therapy or Contract Therapy).
