Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Labor Relations strategy for the unit to include responsibility for managing the collective bargaining agreement, oversight of workforce planning, pay plan administration, continuous improvement, productivity, and employee and community relations
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of cases involving production and maintenance employees, taking personal responsibility for unique, complex, and/or highly confidential cases that require deep investigation
  • Develop policies, procedures, and related guidelines for the function, ensuring compliance with external requirements and integration with the broader functional policy framework
  • Make authoritative recommendations about technical or professional solutions that would significantly improve business performance to include productivity and labor cost management
  • Manage relationships with local union officials, front line leaders, and corporate labor CoE
  • Develop and propose negotiating positions consistent with business objectives; participate in negotiations to deliver outcomes that meet the objectives and are consistent with the organization's values
