Material Handler (2nd Shift M-F 2p-10p) – O'Neal Steel / Waterloo, IA

O'Neal Steel is looking for a Material Handler to work the 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 2p‑10p) at our Waterloo, IA facility. We have more than a century of experience delivering steel products nationwide.

The Material Handler will load and unload material within the warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, or other handling equipment. The position requires moving material to and from trucks or trains and within the storage facility, following established safety procedures and guidelines. The responsibilities typically do not require exercising independent judgment.

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment, including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Use a variety of hand tools (grinder, band saw, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.) as needed.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Deliver high‑quality work for internal and external customers as related to the output of the position.
• After offer, candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

2nd Shift

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 2p‑10p. Overtime will be required as needed.
