• Location: Waterloo, IA 50703 – Iowa nursing jobs
• Start Date: January 21, 2026
• End Date: April 22, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Day shifts – 4x10 hour shifts/week (flexible start times: 8:00am–10:00am)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: 1 shift/week and every 4th–5th weekend

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital or medical center
• Clinical proficiency in ortho, neuro, general, GYN, urology, breast, and plastics surgeries
• Experience with DaVinci robotics preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred (training available)
• Scrub nurse experience a plus
• Must have completed at least one travel nurse contract in the past 18 months (no first-time travelers)
• Submission of resume, skills checklist, license verification, certifications, and references required

• Deliver perioperative nursing care for diverse surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize DaVinci robotics and advanced surgical technology
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent surgical needs
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered operating room environment
