Cardiac Acute Care RN – Part Time, Days

Mercy One is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Acute Care RN to provide high‑quality care to post‑surgical and general medical patients on our 23‑bed unit. The position focuses on pain management, holistic care, and strong patient and family engagement.

• Part‑time, 12‑hour day shift (7 a.m.–7 p.m.)
• Shift rotation includes every 3rd weekend
• Schedule available in multiple locations (Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Oelwein)

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of patients.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

• Current Indiana RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute or post‑surgical nursing advantageous.
