Compliance Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Nurse to join our team at our multi-specialty physician clinic. The Compliance Nurse will be responsible for managing compliance with Evaluation and Management (E ) coding guidelines within medical charts. This role is essential in ensuring that our clinic adheres to regulatory standards and maintains the highest quality of patient care.

• Review and analyze medical charts to ensure compliance with E  coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide education on coding practices and compliance requirements.
• Conduct audits of medical records to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related issues.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to compliance activities and findings.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified Medical Coder
• Previous experience in a compliance role within a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of E  coding guidelines and medical terminology.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
