Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active IA or compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery/Operating Room unit of a hospital

• Day shifts from 06:00 to 18:30

• 36–40 hours per week with call responsibilities

• Holidays are included in the on-call rotation

• Overnight call required approximately every 1–2 weeks

• Weekend call required approximately every 4–5th weekend

• Expect to participate in a rotating on-call schedule including holidays and weekends

• References, licensure verification, and a COVID vaccination card may be required for consideration

• Local rates for RNs are only offered in certain states including IA

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience

• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date

• NIHSS certification required
