Registered Nurse (RN) - 2PM to 10PM (Part-Time)

North Crest Specialty Care, 94-bed long-term care skilled nursing community, Waterloo, IA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to serve as Charge Nurses on the second shift (2:00 PM‑10:00 PM). This part‑time role offers meaningful, resident‑centered care while keeping afternoons and evenings free for you.

• Serve as Charge Nurse during the second shift, overseeing patient care activities.
• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with long‑term care regulations and facility standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for residents and families during this shift.

• Valid RN license in Iowa (or ability to activate one).
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
