We provide products and services that encourage the adoption of sustainable and efficient solutions, aiming to address water issues in communities across North America. This role focuses on selling water meters and smart water solutions to municipal and commercial clients in the state of Iowa.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, working with branch colleagues to ensure satisfaction from order to delivery and beyond.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, collaborating with management on sales strategies and target accounts.
- Perform product quotation and problem resolution.
- Analyze competition in the territory, devise sales strategy, and communicate strategy to management.
- Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional field presence.
- Document all sales activity in the company CRM (Salesforce) for pipeline tracking and sales closure measurement.
- 2+ years of industry-related sales experience is preferred
- Strong technical background and experience in water and/or wastewater preferred
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, able to complete tasks timely, and able to build relationships in a team environment
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Problem solving, leadership, and listening skills
- General digital literacy
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly
This is a base plus commission eligible role, with no cap on commission. Estimated total compensation range based on performance and experience: $70,000 - $120,000+.
