, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
In this unarmed patrol officer position at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security‑related incidents. Your presence and attentive customer service will contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will operate company or client vehicles as part of your duties. At Allied Universal, we value teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in every interaction.

- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
- Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state or local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
