Receptionist, Administrative​/Clerical

At Inspired Villages, our Receptionists are the welcoming face of our communities, creating a warm, professional first impression for residents, visitors, and guests. We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist who takes pride in delivering excellent service and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the village.

This role requires weekend availability, with 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, scheduled between 7:00am and 7:00pm. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment, and value being part of a close-knit team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• Greeting residents, visitors, and customers warmly, professionally, and efficiently
• Acting as a central point of information for all residents, guests, and team members
• Ensuring timely responses from colleagues and contractors through all communication channels
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area at all times
• Checking notices and information for accuracy, relevance, and expiry dates
• Answering incoming calls, determining the purpose, and directing callers promptly and professionally
• Managing room booking systems and keeping all bookings up to date
• Supporting the Office Manager with administrative tasks as required

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, office, or reception environment
• Strong IT skills, with confidence using the full MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and approachable attitude
• Ability to prioritise tasks, stay organised, and work efficiently in a busy environment
