Panel Wirer

Infinity Employment are seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to work within an electrical department reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. Assembling control panels to bespoke wiring schematics and drawings. Testing and kitting finished panels ready for dispatch. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and pride in delivering well-built, fully tested panels ready for dispatch.

* Temp – perm position after a 12-week period.

 * £27,500 per year plus overtime when available

* 37:75 hours per week (07:30-16:15 Mon-Thurs) 07:30-12:15 Friday

Responsibilities:

* Fit, wire, build and assemble power control cabinets

* You must be able to understand electrical drawings

* Previous use and experience with hand tools

* Fit electrical components and electrical wiring working from schematics and drawings

* Minor Soldering

* Installations of large electrical control cabinets

* Working to schematic drawings

* Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies

* Fault-find and rectify wiring issues where required

* Little amount of producing looms.

* Installation and test completed panels to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards

* Maintaining of technical records

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

* Work collaboratively with engineers and the wider production team

Experience:

* Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English

* Excellent attendance levels and attitude

* Attention to detail

* Hand tools

* Electrical drawings

* Control panel experience is essential
