The Carby Corporation is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with expertise in deep draw metal manufacturing and Solid Works to lead our engineering department. This role is critical to our high-volume eyelet metal production, ensuring precision, compliance, and operational excellence.

Position Summary:

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving our engineering efforts, establishing scalable processes, and leading the development of cutting-edge solutions in deep drawn metal manufacturing, specifically high-volume, high-tolerance applications. This strategic role will involve managing the design, development, and continuous improvement of embedded systems to ensure Carby stays at the forefront of innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering department in high-volume eyelet metal manufacturing.
• Utilize Solid Works to design, develop, and improve deep draw metal components.
• Oversee International Material Data Systems (IMDS), Full Material Disclosures, and Conflict Minerals Reporting.
• Ensure compliance with REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Cal Prop
  65, GADSL, and other environmental regulations.
• Manage supplier compliance, banned substances tracking, and extended minerals reporting.
• Maintain precious metals accounting and ensure material traceability.
• Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and quality enhancement initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into the production environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in deep draw metal manufacturing and high-volume production.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental and materials compliance regulations.
• Experience with supplier compliance and precious metals accounting.
• Proven leadership skills in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field) preferred or 10+ years of engineering experience.
