Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Watertown, CT

Schedule: Monday through Friday

PRN and part-time positions available

Compensation: hourly rate starting at $27/hr based on experience

Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top‑notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. The center focuses on sports medicine, has a specialized total joint rehabilitation program, and serves a high case load of post‑operative patients. The clinic features an open floor plan and state‑of‑the‑art equipment, including Pilates machines.

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act
• Implement high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain a positive level of interaction with patients and centers, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
