Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Litigation Paralegal at our Watertown, CT office. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, reviewing documents, and assisting in drafting pleadings and motions. The role will also include supporting attorneys with trial preparation and ensuring all case files are organized and updated accurately.
Responsibilities
The Litigation Paralegal will:
- Prepare legal documents and review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
- Assist in drafting pleadings and motions and filing as needed
- Support attorneys with trial preparation and exhibit management
- Ensure all case files are organized, updated, and accessible
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and document review
- Strong skills in legal research
- Experience with drafting and filing pleadings and motions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with personal injury law is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred, along with prior paralegal experience
