Part‑Time | Seasonal | Estimated 40 hours/week (20 hours Golf Shop + 20 hours Bag Room)

Approximately April 15 - October 15

Watertown Golf Club is seeking a motivated and service‑oriented PGA Associate to join our Golf Professional Staff for the upcoming season. This role features split responsibilities between the Golf Shop and Bag Room, including a supervisory position leading the outside service operation.

This is an ideal entry‑level position for a PGA Associate with aspirations to become a Class A PGA Member who is seeking hands‑on experience in all facets of golf operations.

• Current PGA Associate with aspirations to achieve PGA Membership
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Organized, reliable, and enthusiastic about golf operations
• Prior golf operations experience preferred, not required
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Golf Shop: $20.00/hour
• Bag Room: State minimum wage, hourly + gratuities
• Uniforms and playing privileges included

• Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests
• Assist with retail sales, merchandising, and point‑of‑sale operations
• Support tournament administration and daily play management
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming shop environment
• Communicate club policies and procedures clearly and consistently

• Lead and supervise the outside operations team
• Oversee club handling/cleaning, cart staging/cleaning, and range setup
• Maintain equipment storage areas, practice facilities, and cart fleet standards
• Assist with pace of play and guest service initiatives
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational policies

• Assist with junior and adult instruction programs
• Support Operation 36 classes, clinics, and on‑course events
• Engage with golfers in a positive, developmental environment
