Senior Robotics Test & Integration Technician; Technician III

A robot rolls off our assembly line. It has never been powered on. You're the one who brings it to life.

You'll own each robot from first power-up through final test and ship: every subsystem working, every result documented, every fault found and fixed at its root. When something doesn't work (and some won't), you'll track it down with a meter and a schematic, fix it, and prove it stays fixed.

This isn't a pass/fail checklist job. If you've commissioned, repaired, or brought up complete machines (robots, packaging lines, AGVs, CNC, or similar), this is your kind of work.

Our robot is an autonomous palletizer: a collaborative arm on a battery-powered mobile base, with vacuum tooling, sensors, and safety circuits. Each one you release goes straight into a working warehouse. You're the last set of hands before the customer.

• Inspect incoming robots for wiring workmanship and perform safe first power-up
• Bring up every subsystem: DC power and battery, CAN communications, arm and controller, mobile base and drives, sensors, vacuum, and safety circuits
• Load and verify software, firmware, calibrations, and configurations
• Run functional and final acceptance tests, including multi-hour continuous runs
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and configuration failures to root cause, repair, and retest
• Log failures, repairs, and results in our manufacturing system
• Prep robots for shipment: final checks, battery charge, arm stow, and paperwork
• Flag recurring issues to Production Engineering so they're fixed at the source
• Help train other technicians and build the troubleshooting guides the next person will use

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing complete electromechanical machines: robots, industrial automation, field equipment, or similar
• Experience commissioning or bringing machines up, not only assembling them or running checklists
• Comfort reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings, and confidence with a multimeter
• A sharp eye for wiring quality: crimps, ferrules, pins, strain relief, routing
• A methodical approach: form a hypothesis, test it, find the cause, verify the fix
• Clear notes, including knowing the difference between a confirmed cause and a guess
• Flexibility to work extended hours during production pushes

• Military electronics, avionics, or field service background
• Cobot, AMR/AGV, or battery-powered equipment experience
• Oscilloscope or CAN bus tools
• Basic Linux command line or networking

• $38–$50/hr, based on experience
