Job summary:

Newly Weds Foods is a global premium ingredient provider for some of the biggest brand names in the country. With 16 manufacturing plants in North America and many more worldwide, we have a great opportunity for applicants with fork-lift experience. Our fork lift operator performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting shipping goals for customer orders by performing all required shipping and receiving functions.

Prior experience operating a fork lift is a must and working in wholesale food manufacturing is a plus. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a $4B global powerhouse that still has a great deal of growth ahead of it.

Positions open on Second Shift.

• Operates forklift to load and unload vehicles.
• Ensures all products are properly coded.
• Pulls orders and assists in warehouse placement of stock.
• Assists in inventory and cycle counts.
• Completes required logs, shipping and receiving paperwork, and monthly inventory without assistance.
• Assists in set-up when there are no other duties to perform, including pulling ingredients or loading blending platforms.
• May fill in for supervisor as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of finished goods and raw material storage areas.
• Understands and completes shipping and receiving department paperwork.
• Acts as a self-starter and can multi-task.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of standup forklift and load move system.

The job is performed in the warehouse and production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles from ingredients, and machinery.
