Role:
Research Associate I/II supporting microbial fermentation process development for recombinant protein production. Objectives include building and scaling fermentation platforms through hands‑on experimental execution.
- operate, monitor, troubleshoot shake flask and bench-scale bioreactors;
- prepare media and feeds;
- perform analytical assays;
- ensure laboratory safety;
- collaborate with strain engineering, downstream, and analytical teams to support process scaling.
- experience in microbial fermentation, microbiology, bioprocess development;
- proficiency with bench bioreactors, aseptic technique, and microbial culture handling;
- strong organizational and documentation skills;
- ability to troubleshoot experiments independently.
- fed-batch fermentation experience;
- HPLC analysis;
- recombinant protein expression;
- process optimization support;
- data analysis skills.
