Research Associate I​/II, Bioprocess Development

Role:
Research Associate I/II supporting microbial fermentation process development for recombinant protein production. Objectives include building and scaling fermentation platforms through hands‑on experimental execution.

• operate, monitor, troubleshoot shake flask and bench-scale bioreactors;
• prepare media and feeds;
• perform analytical assays;
• ensure laboratory safety;
• collaborate with strain engineering, downstream, and analytical teams to support process scaling.

• experience in microbial fermentation, microbiology, bioprocess development;
• proficiency with bench bioreactors, aseptic technique, and microbial culture handling;
• strong organizational and documentation skills;
• ability to troubleshoot experiments independently.

• fed-batch fermentation experience;
• HPLC analysis;
• recombinant protein expression;
• process optimization support;
• data analysis skills.
