OR Certified Surgical Tech 100-mile radius rule 8hr Days Shift: 7a-3:30p Weekend, call and holidays required 7a-3:30p 13 weeks MUST BE CERTIFIED Must have travel experience! Must have Ortho experience! Must have scrubbing experience! Must have Davinci experience! May be asked to precept new staff Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible Knowledge in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting.

BLS required. Qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine & delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department. Candidate will perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise & efficient reaction to all situations & assist with departmental work as assigned.

Surgical techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly & safely as well as assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. Must arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in. #HCRR
