Project Manager, Operations Manager

Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to own the customer relationship experience on projects from the drafting down payment to shipping. The Project Manager is responsible for regular, timely, and professional communication with the customers and/or builders. The PM will gather information to create efficiencies for the drafting team, drafting process, and will monitor the project through the production process.

• Strong desire to build and develop positive customer relationships.
• Must communicate effectively both written and verbally, to build rapport with all parties involved in the project process. Coordinate communications between Regional Sales Managers, customers, builders, and Enercept drafting and production teams. Collaborate with Enercept teams to determine best course of action for projects.
• Analyze project construction documents and other project information to assist the estimating team with preparation of cost estimates.
• Collaborate with the drafting team to collect data/information required by the drafters to produce panel layout drawings and shop drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy of both preliminary and post-liminary drawings.
• Review and understand each project being managed to effectively communicate with Enercept team and customers and/or builders.
• Must have regular contact with customers and/or builders, building rapport, have knowledge of their site development, and how it integrates with our production process.
• Coordinate customer requested on-site visits with Production Manager/Supervisor.
• Must become knowledgeable of Enercept processes and capabilities. Focus on ways to improve and streamline process related concerns.
• Provide project-billing information to accounting and communication of the same to the customer.
• Process warranty questions and concerns.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors to assure accuracy of project documentation.
• Keep Hub Spot and Leads Base notes up to date on each project assigned to Project Manager.
• Communicate with Enercept vendors and the drafting team to review shop drawings and act as the point of contact for Enercept vendors.
  • Reviews with internal and external sources to assure beams, trusses, etc. are sized and dimensioned correctly.
• Issue PO's to suppliers and design professionals that contract with Enercept on given projects.
• Follow up with customers post-delivery for feedback.
• Handle complaints with appropriate departments concerning billing, quality, shipping or service provided.
• Required to follow up with all complaints in a timely manner: communication should occur within 2-3 business days, and no longer than 2 weeks from the time of the notification.

• A required minimum of two years in the construction industry with the ability to read construction plans and understand how buildings are constructed.
