Radiology Technologist - Watertown, SD - PRN

Sanford Health is a rapidly growing not‑for‑profit health system dedicated to health and healing across the United States. The Watertown Clinic seeks a qualified Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations and deliver excellent patient care across a flexible PRN schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring production of quality diagnostic images.
  • Operate equipment and conduct image operations according to provider requests and technical factors.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures.
  • Implement radiation safety guidelines and conduct proper radiation protection practices.
  • Deliver excellent patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an ARRT‑accepted educational program and ARRT registration required.
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, positioning, image processing, quality control, and radiation protection required.
  • North Dakota licensure (NDMIRT) or South Dakota ARRT certification within 60 days of hire required; state of Iowa permit to practice through the Iowa Dept. of Public Health required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification may be required within eight weeks for some clinic locations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re‑certification as necessary required.
