Employment DetailsFull‑time (0.8) position available along with PRN positions. Sign‑on bonus: $15,000 with a 2‑year commitment.
Job SummaryThis position will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the technical direction of the radiologist.
Responsibilities- Produce two or three‑dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction.
- Key test data and patient information into the ultrasound equipment computer to maintain a record of test results.
- Operate the department computer system for scheduling and billing procedures.
- Operate PACS system to ensure all images are verified and sent.
- Share call responsibilities in ultrasound.
- Maintain supply inventory.
- Report equipment malfunction to the Radiology Director and report safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
