Employment Details

Full‑time (0.8) position available along with PRN positions. Sign‑on bonus: $15,000 with a 2‑year commitment.

Job Summary

This position will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the technical direction of the radiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Produce two or three‑dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction.
  • Key test data and patient information into the ultrasound equipment computer to maintain a record of test results.
  • Operate the department computer system for scheduling and billing procedures.
  • Operate PACS system to ensure all images are verified and sent.
  • Share call responsibilities in ultrasound.
  • Maintain supply inventory.
  • Report equipment malfunction to the Radiology Director and report safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent from an AMA‑approved ultrasound technology school.
  • Holds or is eligible for certification by the ARDMS or RDCS.
