Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting 13-week contract in Watertown, South Dakota. Job DescriptionAs a Travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations across multiple specialties. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting physicians with accurate and timely imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities- Perform OB, vascular, and abdominal ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
- Analyze images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation.
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to facility and safety guidelines.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS certification required in at least one specialty (OB, Vascular, or Abdomen).
- Experience performing OB, vascular, and abdominal ultrasounds required.
- No state license required for South Dakota.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Excellent attention to detail and image quality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
