Machine Operator

We are searching for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an entry level machinist at Dynamic Engineering in Watertown, SD. As a saw operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality precision parts and components while ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skill development and growth within our organization.

• 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday option of getting off at 12:00 on Fridays.
• 5 hours OT every week, additional OT available.

• Operate and monitor machinery to produce parts according to precise specifications using drawings.
• Perform routine machine set‑ups, adjustments, and maintenance to optimize accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to guarantee parts meet quality standards and promptly address any deviations or issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production problems and improve processes.

• Prior experience in Manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Ability and desire to learn the interpretation of blueprints, and quality control specifications.
• Familiarity with operating machinery such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to handle tools and perform precision work.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in machining or related field is a bonus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
