FAR Inspections is looking for highly motivated individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Independent contractors earn predictable full-time or supplemental income and enjoy a flexible schedule.

Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties. The purpose of the property inspection is to verify property occupancy and report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.

• Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
• Report general property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards.
• Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
• Complete a short form in an app.
• Spend extended periods driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

• Computer with an internet connection.
• Reliable vehicle with good gas mileage.
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
• Printer.
• Pass a standard background check with a valid driver’s license.

This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate, equivalent to $30-$40 per hour. Depending on the county and volume you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
