Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for safely and accurately receiving, transporting, and shipping materials and finished goods. This role supports production by ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and proper handling of finished products, while complying with all safety standards and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment and inventory devices safely and efficiently.
• Move finished product pallets from packaging lines to designated areas promptly.
• Deliver raw materials to packaging lines to prevent downtime.
• Load finished goods into trailers for safe transport and prepare accurate Bills of Lading.
• Follow SOPs for receiving, loading, and unloading trucks; adhere to company policies.
• Inspect finished goods for quality and accuracy before transfer to storage.
• Maintain equipment condition and report mechanical issues immediately.
• Perform routine cleaning of shipping/receiving areas and equipment.
• Receive, count, and inspect incoming goods; reconcile purchase orders with actual deliveries.
• Monitor bulk load transfers for safe unloading and storage.
• Prepare incoming materials for storage using best space utilization practices.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times daily, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive bending and stretching.
• Proper use and maintenance of PPE (contact lenses prohibited).
• Maintain accurate receiving records (freight bills, packing lists, purchase orders).
• Conduct daily cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Inspect returned goods and follow disposition instructions; assist with rework (re‑labeling, re‑packing).
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements; report unsafe conditions.
• Assist in other warehouse or production tasks as directed.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,800.00 and $71,400.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
