Watertown, WI – The Marquardt, an Illuminus Community, is a 52‑acre campus offering assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and independent living for older adults.

We are seeking a licensed RN with experience in geriatrics and leadership to serve as Director of Nursing (DON). The role sets nursing standards, ensures quality care and manages nursing staff in the day shift with on‑call rotation.

Salary: $95,000–$124,000 per year (dependent on experience).
Job type: Full‑time, Leadership.
Shift: Day Shift with On Call Rotation.

• Develop, organize and maintain a standard of nursing practice that is compliant with company objectives and state and federal regulations.
• Supervise functions, activities and training of nursing personnel.
• Assure quality of care adhering to best practices around infection prevention and control per nursing department guidelines.
• Develop and maintain nursing practice standards, policies and procedures and provide oversight of practice.
• Ensure that duties of nursing personnel are clearly defined and assigned to staff in accordance with their level of education, experience and licensure.
• Maintain and actively promote effective communication with all individuals.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
• Knowledge and/or experience in geriatrics.
• Management experience.
• Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations.
