The role is responsible for providing technical support related to product chemistry, quality specifications, and regulatory/environmental compliance. Duties include chemical testing of batches, line samples, and raw materials; making necessary adjustments; and analyzing and tabulating test data. The role also supports Quality, Health, and Safety programs, including training and adherence to all policies. Commitment to customer satisfaction is essential.
Primary Responsibilities- Follow all safety requirements and maintain safe work habits.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, and Production teams.
- Ensure products meet BOM specifications; perform and record timely testing of raw materials, batches, and finished goods.
- Approve finished products, update inventory, and calculate adjustments as needed.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment; manage lab supplies.
- Conduct audits for ISO 9001/14001 compliance and summarize results for management.
- Apply SPC methods for data collection, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Support ISO system compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with R&D and Regulatory on process improvements and compliance issues.
- Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis and lab batch samples for evaluations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of lab procedures, analytical chemistry, and equipment operation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and related tools; good financial acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field (experience may substitute). 1–2 years in Quality Control preferred.
Expected compensation: $39,600.00 to $66,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
