Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere conducive to academic learning by monitoring and maintaining acceptable student behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Maintain a positive professional attitude with students, staff, and families.
• Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Training or experience in best practices of literacy and/or math instruction.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Three or more years of post-secondary education, or 90 semester hours approved study, or equivalent, in an educationally related field.
• Appropriate Department of Education certification.
