Start Date:

As soon as possible

The Waterville Public School System serves over 2,000 students of all ages in and near Waterville, Maine. Recognized as one of the city’s greatest assets, our schools engage every child in challenging, student-centered learning while providing a safe, welcoming environment for them to learn and grow.

This is an opportunity to engage with students at the moments when clinical support is most needed—and where it will have the greatest impact. As a school clinician, you’ll have direct access to students, their teachers, and the full range of daily supports they receive. The variety of students you’ll serve makes the work dynamic and meaningful, and the ability to provide clinical support in multiple settings offers flexibility and richness in your day‑to‑day experience.

This position specifically supports students receiving special education services. You’ll collaborate closely with IEP case managers to determine the most effective interventions for students’ mental health needs. In addition, you’ll be a key member of a highly supportive team of clinicians, with weekly supervision and guidance from a Clinical Director.

The city of Waterville is located on the banks of the Kennebec River and is easily accessible from two exits off I‑95 as well as Route 201. Waterville offers access to affordable housing, employment opportunities, medical facilities, outdoor activities, and a vibrant arts, entertainment, and culinary scene. https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./
