Supervise shipping crew, maintain computerized records, maintain inventory levels.

• Review daily schedule and, in discussion with other warehouse team members, plans and prioritizes daily work schedule to meet customer delivery requirements. Alerts team members to any special truck loading configuration or customer delivery requirements.
• Checks specification sheets and other written instructions to meet customer specifications. Personally checks pallets of product for quality purposes.
• Gives leadership to other team members.
• Maintain the highest level of efficiencies within the operating department.
• Train operators on the safety of operation of the department and other essential functions.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Train other personnel on the functions of this position.
• Write comprehensive operating manuals as required.
• Prepare required information for shift changes as required.
• Develops, among assigned personnel, a consciousness for the need for teamwork to attain the highest quality and productivity.
• Team member in departmental safety audits.

• Communication skills.
• Computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word.
• BPCS Software experience, PI Process systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent warehouse experience.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
