SUMMARY
The inside sales position is responsible for completing quotations, sales, customer returns, and provides sales support to outside sales people. This position also works to maintain customer contact, assist in miscellaneous projects, retain and strengthen customer relationships.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to all customer inquiries.
- Determine vehicle specifications for orders.
- Track customer requests, calculate and provide quotes, orders and altered options, provide follow-up and drive closure.
- Expedite and follow up on customer orders and resolve customer issues.
- Maintain relationship with outside sales staff and support and assist in orders.
- Process and maintain sales orders and change orders.
- Perform related sales support activities as assigned.
- Order parts using online parts manuals, engineering prints, and photographs.
- Coordinate with buyer for special part purchases.
- Ensure first-pass phone percentage of 92% or better.
- Provide support and guidance to shipping department personnel.
- Locate appropriate service center and coordinate repair of truck.
- Communicate issue to Technical Engineering support for solution.
- Ensure proper handling of all warrant issues.
HS Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred)
