Group Fitness Coordinator

Alfond Youth & Community Center (AYCC) is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Group Fitness Instructors to lead safe, engaging, and effective fitness classes for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Instructors will lead formats such as cycling, HIIT, yoga, Pilates, Functional Fitness/TRX, and more while fostering a supportive and motivating environment.

Ideal candidates are passionate about health and wellness, skilled in group instruction, and committed to helping members achieve their fitness goals.

• Safely lead energizing, fun, and educational group classes directed by the supervisor to accomplish the AYCC mission and goals.
• Design and ensure delivery of programs and activities appropriate to the target population, including youth fitness, senior/adult fitness, teen fitness, general fitness, group exercise, and sport performance training.
• Answer questions from members and support them in achieving goals related to healthy living.
• Maintain working knowledge of wellness and industry trends to provide effective information and support to members.
• Keep accurate class attendance records and track monthly participation.
• Assist with storing, maintaining, organizing, and cleaning equipment.
• Provide coverage for the Wellness Center desk.
• Build effective, authentic relationships with members; help members connect with each other and the AYCC.
• Work schedule:
  
  5:00am-10:00am Monday – Wednesday (15 hours per week).
