Asan Audit Senior/Assistant Manager you will:
- Lead and supervise audit engagements with turnovers of up to £250 million, covering a variety of sectors including charities, pensions, solicitors, and schools.
- Manage the end‑to‑end audit process from planning through to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered within budget and to strict deadlines.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff, assisting them with complex accounting and auditing queries.
- Prepare statutory and consolidated accounts under FRS
102, as well as draft corporation tax computations for clients. - Draft detailed management recommendations following the completion of audit fieldwork to add tangible value to your client base.
- Hold an ACA or ACCA qualification, or be at the Advanced Level with a clear plan for completion.
- Possess at least 2.5 years of experience in a practice environment, demonstrating consistent exposure to audit throughout your career.
- Have a proven track record of preparing comprehensive audit files for a diverse portfolio of clients with minimal managerial guidance.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle complex or non‑straightforward client records while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight reporting deadlines.
- Be a confident communicator, capable of building effective, professional relationships with both clients and internal team members.
- Laptop provided for hybrid working flexibility.
- Exposure to high‑value audits with turnovers up to £250 million.
