As a Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you will work across complex UK and US listed reporting requirements, partnering with senior stakeholders and contributing to how financial performance is communicated at the highest levels of the organization. Whatwill you be doing?
You will operate within the Group Financial Reporting team, supporting the central consolidation function and delivering high quality external reporting across a global organization.
Your role will involve working across UK and US listed reporting requirements, contributing to external reporting outputs including regulatory filings such as Form 20-F. You will take ownership of complex accounting areas including acquisition accounting, impairment assessments and statutory profit adjustments, ensuring alignment with IFRS and Group policies.
You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including Treasury, Tax and other finance teams, particularly during peak reporting periods such as half‑year and year end. You will also work with external auditors, supporting audits and ensuring strong governance and compliance within a SOX controlled environment.
A key part of this role is translating complex accounting topics into clear and practical insights. You will write technical accounting papers, apply sound judgment and communicate effectively with non‑finance stakeholders and senior leaders.
This is a highly visible and varied position, offering exposure to VP and SVP stakeholders and involvement in ongoing transactions, acquisitions and restructurings.
What will you need to be successful?This role requires a strong technical foundation combined with the ability to operate confidently in a large, complex organization. Success comes from being able to combine expertise with clear communication and sound judgment.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS, group reporting and consolidation in a multinational environment
- Experience working in a SOX controlled environment and managing complex accounting topics, including writing technical accounting papers
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, including mandatory Big 4 audit background, ideally completed with industry experience within a large multinational or FTSE scale organization
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present clearly to senior stakeholders and work effectively with external auditors
