Accounts Payable Clerk - Hybrid

TEMPORARY ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK – WATFORD, HERTSHIRE (HYBRID)

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join a supportive finance team during a busy period. This hybrid role requires three days per week in the office.

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Performing supplier statement reconciliations
• Resolving invoice queries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting the wider finance team with ad‑hoc tasks as required

• Previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or purchase ledger role
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• The ability to work accurately to deadlines
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Experience using finance systems and Excel
