- Provide accounting support to the Finance and Treasury team
- Assist with monthly and year-end reconciliations and reporting
- Manage VAT reporting and compliance, including preparing, reconciling, and submitting VAT returns
- Perform monthly VAT control account reconciliations
- Support the Senior Financial Controls & Process Improvements Manager with financial control enhancements, process improvements, year-end activities, audit requirements, and financial best practice
- Produce and maintain cash flow forecasting models and financial reports
- Perform advanced balance sheet and control account reconciliations
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues across the wider Finance team
- AAT Level 4 qualified, fully qualified AAT member, or educated to degree level in business or accounting
- Studies towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA) desirable
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other data analysis tools
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing demands, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable understanding and application of EDI policies in the workplace
- DBS Basic vetting level required
- Visa sponsorship is not available
Demonstrates expertise in accounting support, VAT reporting and compliance, and financial control enhancements. Proficient in advanced Excel for data analysis and cash flow forecasting, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
