Office based
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm

Home Instead is looking for an experienced Scheduler / Co-ordinator to join our friendly and professional team. This is a key role within the business, ensuring that our clients receive consistent, high-quality care by carefully coordinating schedules for both clients and Care Professionals.
About the Role
As Scheduler, you will play a vital part in the smooth running of our care services. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining effective schedules, matching the right Care Professionals to the right clients, and responding quickly to any changes or challenges that arise.
Your main duties will include:
Building effective and efficient schedules around client needs and Care Professional availability
Planning schedules while considering travel time, holidays, training and last-minute changes
Responding promptly and positively to changes in schedules
Matching Care Professionals to new clients and arranging introductions
Ensuring continuity of care wherever possible - same carer, same times each week
Developing strong relationships with clients and Care Professionals
Working closely with recruitment and care teams to ensure staffing levels meet demand
Maintaining accurate records on the electronic scheduling system
Supporting the overall smooth operation of the business
Ensuring compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Criteria
Previous experience in a scheduling role within home care, domiciliary care, logistics or a similar fast-paced environment
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite and CRM systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
The ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
A logical, analytical approach to problem solving
