We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join the team of an established company in the Watford area. This role is offering a temporary position with the opportunity to work within a busy and fast-paced office environment.

Fleet Coordinator

Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week

Office based

Temporary role – 4+ weeks

Watford

£18ph paid weekly via umbrella

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be:

* Maintaining an inventory of company vehicles, including maintenance schedules, usage records, and vehicle condition

* Scheduling and overseeing regular vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs

* Monitoring fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle performance across the fleet

* Ensuring compliance with insurance, registration, and local vehicle regulations

* Coordinating vehicle assignments based on operational and employee requirements

* Developing and maintaining scheduling systems to maximise fleet utilisation

* Collaborating with internal departments to support transportation and operational needs

* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service history

* Producing reports on fleet utilisation, expenses, and performance metrics

* Analysing fleet data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

* Liaising with external suppliers, vendors, and service providers regarding maintenance and repairs

* Reviewing supplier agreements and supporting cost-effective vendor management

* To be successful as a Fleet Coordinator, you will need:

* Previous experience within a Fleet Coordinator, Fleet Administrator, Transport Coordinator, or similar role

* Strong organisational and administrative skills

* Experience managing records, reporting, and scheduling systems

* Good understanding of fleet compliance and vehicle maintenance processes

* Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with suppliers and internal teams

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems

* Ability to work independently within a fast-paced office environment
