Monday and Tuesday 9.30-5pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Clinical Support Services (CSS) Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. If you have strong administrative and IT skills, excellent attention to detail and enjoy working with others, we would encourage you to apply.

This is a diverse role offering the opportunity to work across Children’s Specialist Services within both the Referral Hub and CSS Administration teams. You will develop a wide range of administrative skills, including telephone support, management of shared email inboxes, use of Systm One, digital correspondence, and the scheduling of patient appointments.
Our administration service is increasingly embracing digital ways of working, so you will also have the opportunity to build your confidence with new systems and digital initiatives as our services continue to develop.
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable and comfortable communicating with colleagues and families. Good IT skills, accuracy and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload will be important. You will be joining a team where learning and development are encouraged, with opportunities to develop your skills as you grow into the role.

The successful applicant will develop a wide range of administrative skills, including daily telephone support to families and external stakeholders, management of shared email inboxes, use of Systm One, sending correspondence digitally and the scheduling of patient appointments.
HCT will prioritise recruitment of workers living in England under the new immigration rules for care workers effective from 9 April 2025. Employers must first prove that they have attempted to recruit a worker from within England who needs new sponsorship. This ensures that those who came to the UK to pursue a career in adult social care can do so.
Personspecification Experience
- Demonstrate office administration work experience
- Experience and able to demonstrate customer care in the workplace
- Experience of working within NHS/Healthcare environment
- An understanding of the correct presentation and formatting required for formal letters and emails
- Respond effectively and appropriately to external telephone calls and queries from members of the public and external stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
- Examples of using digital platforms to send correspondence
- Demonstrate experience of using Systm One
- Excellent and high attention to detail
- Self Motivated and proactive
- Good written communication including ability to summarise information effectively
- Ability to remain calm and work effectively in a busy working environment
