Workshop Controller Opportunity at Premier Prestige Dealership in Watford
Are you an experienced Workshop Controller seeking a new leadership opportunity within a reputable dealership? Our client, a respected prestige main car dealership in Watford, Hertfordshire, is looking to appoint a driven and skilled Workshop Controller to oversee a team of 16 technicians, 4 apprentices, and a dedicated team of service advisors. This role offers the chance to advance your automotive career within a dynamic and professional environment, with attractive salary and benefits.
Benefits:- Competitive basic salary of £36,000, with potential earnings up to £50,000
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, with Saturday rota (if required)

- Monitor team performance, providing coaching and support to enhance results
- Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop environment
- Liaise with Service Advisors and customers to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer satisfaction
- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Service Advisor, or in a similar supervisory role within a main dealership or automotive environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate staff in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of workshop processes, vehicle repairs, and technical standards
- Customer-focused approach with an understanding of technical services
- Ability to manage workshop planning whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
